Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy covers the WallApp website (wallapp.shubhamy.in), run by Shubham Yadav. Questions: shubhamskyjnp@gmail.com.
Without an account
You can browse and download without signing in. Your browser keeps a few things in its own local storage on your device: your light or dark theme, your preferred download size, wallpapers you’ve saved, and which wallpapers you’ve already downloaded or liked (so each counts once). This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Download and like counts are kept as anonymous totals per wallpaper; they aren’t linked to you.
If you sign in
Signing in with Google or with email uses Google Firebase Authentication, which keeps your email address (and, with Google, your name and profile photo). WallApp then stores:
- your saved wallpapers and collections, so they sync between your devices;
- a record of your account: your account ID, the sign-in method (Google or email), when the account was created and when it was last used.
Only you can read your saved items, and only the site owner can see the account records. They are never sold or shared. To delete your data, email shubhamskyjnp@gmail.com from the address you signed in with.
Advertising
WallApp shows ads served by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
Google Analytics for Firebase records how the site is used, such as pages viewed, searches, filters, downloads and saves, so the collection can be improved. It uses cookies and collects device and approximate location data. See Google’s privacy policy.
Images
Wallpapers are loaded from Cloudinary and Pexels. Like any website, those services receive your IP address and browser details when they send an image.
Children
WallApp isn’t directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect their personal information.
